Children’s Safety Village
is an innovative and interactive educational safety facility designed to aid in the elimination of preventable childhood injuries and death.
INJURIES are the leading cause of death for children in Canada. Almost ALL were considered to have been preventable. Hundreds of children die each year and thousands more suffer life-altering injuries.
The Safety Village WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE in the life of a child and thousands more who have the opportunity to participate in hands-on safety programs acquiring practical skills, safety knowledge and making good choices.

Programs & Events
The Safety Village features both On-Site and Virtual Safety Programs
Half-day interactive Site programs run from April through November. Requests for full day sessions can also be accommodated. Innovative Virtual programs are available December through March. Each virtual session is approximately 40-60 minutes in length. Programs focus on school-age children from Kindergarten to Grade Six providing lifesaving skills and safety knowledge. There is no charge for attending schools. Additional Programs, Special Events, and Safety Demonstrations are held throughout the year for youth, adults, seniors and families.
